Chinese Restaurant Awards welcome all diners to experience this exclusive and memorable signature dish tasting journey. 

As an exciting new component to the fourth annual Chinese Restaurant Awards(CRA), the inaugural Signature Dish Dining Festival will be held at 18 Chinese restaurants in Richmond, Vancouver and Burnaby from November 1 to 18, 2011.  Celebrating Greater Vancouver's vibrant Chinese dining scene over 18 nights, each of the 18 featured restaurants offer a selection of signature dishes, innovative new plates and traditional favorites created specifically by their talented chefs. Menus have been designed to highlight each restaurant’s specialties and showcase the chef’s culinary mastery. Choice Canadian ingredients such as B.C. Dungeness crab, Alberta beef and Alberta pork are the festival’s focal points.  The festival will feature award-winning signature dishes previously honored by CRA, such as Jade Seafood Restaurant's smoked grandpa chicken, Alvin Garden’s tea smoked duck, and Rainflower Restaurant’s lamb rack in Chinese wine sauce.  Diners participating the festival are welcome to vote Diners' Choice Awards online for the Best Restaurant, Best Service, Best Dining Environment and Most Innovative, all under the Signature Dish Dining Festival category commencing this November with the result announcement on December 5, 2011. Eight critics from this year’s CRA judging panel will also taste the dine-out dishes from all 18 participating restaurants and select dishes that are best fit for the following award categories: Best Alberta Beef, Best Alberta Pork, and Best dish made with Amoy Sauces. Results will constitute to CRA 2012‘s Critics Choice Award and will be announced at CRA award ceremony at River Rock Casino Resort - Show Theatre on January 11, 2012. Reservation can be simply made by calling to the restaurants directly. Diners may choose from menus for 4 people at $100, menus for 6 people at $150, or menus for 10 at $300.
